Pharmaceutical form

Lyophilisate and solvent for preparation of injection suspension for cattle.

Composition

Trichophyton verrucosum – min. 3,125 x 10⁶ CFU, max. 18,75 x 10⁶ CFU

Indication

Both the prevention and treatment of bovine trichophytosis.

Onset of immunity: within 1 month after the administration of second dose.

Duration of immunity: at least 5 years.

Dosage, application and vaccination scheme

Method of Administration:

Intramuscularly at the lumbar or gluteal region. Vaccination and revaccination (second dose) should be performed into the left and the right part of a body, respectively.

Dosage:

Prophylactic and therapeutic:

• Calves aged one day up to three months: 2 x 2 ml.
• Cattle older than three months: 2 x 4 ml.

The interval between the vaccination and the revaccination should be 5–14 days.

Another (the third) revaccination can be performed 2–4 weeks after the revaccination in the animals affected heavily with trichophytic changes and also in cachectic animals.

Storage

Store and transport refrigerated (2 °C–8 °C).

Protect from frost.

Protect from light.

Withdrawal period

Meat: 14 days.

Shelf life

3 years.

The vaccine shall be consumed within 2 hours since its dissolution.

5 x 10 ml, 1 x 40 ml, 1 x 80 ml.
