Composition
Amoxicillinum (ut amoxicillinum trihydricum) 200.00 mg
Acidum clavulanicum (ut kalii clavulanas) 50.00 mg
Prednisolonum 10.00 mg
Indication
Treatment of clinical cases of mastitis caused by the following agents in lactating dairy cows:
Staphylococcus spp. (including strains producing beta-lactamase)
Streptococcus spp. (especially S. agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae, S. uberis)
Escherichia coli (including strains producing some beta-lactamases)
Target animals
Cattle (Lactating dairy cows).
Dosage and application
The end of the mamilla must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before administration.
The content of one applicator is administered to the affected quadrant and application is carried out through the teat duct. The product is administered immediately after milking. 3 doses in total in 12-hour intervals are administered into every affected quarter.
Infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus may require longer antibiotic therapy. Therefore, the total treatment duration should be assessed by a veterinary physician. The treatment should be long enough to ensure complete eradication of the intramammary infection.
The applicator may be used only once.
Storage
Store at temperatures below 25° C.
Protect from cold and freezing.
Keep the applicators in the box, protected from light.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 7 days.
Milk: 84 hours.
Shelf life
The shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product inside intact packaging is 18 months.
Package
LDPE intramammary applicators with volume of 4.5 ml.
The shipping box of - 24 pcs of applicators is inserted into a box along with a leaflet. The package contains 24 wipes for cleaning the mamillas. The wipes are moistened in 65% v/v isopropanol solution (2.4 ml/wipe).
