Composition

Fipronilum 2.5 mg

Indication

Prevention of flea bites and associated allergies.

Treatment and control of tick and lice bites.

Route of administration and dosage

Topical spray.

7.5 mg Fipronil/kg body weight. This dose is estimated to be contained in 3 ml of the sprayer or 6 squeeze of the applicator/kg (in 100 ml packaging).

In the 250 ml packaging, 2 squeezes of the sprayer on the required body surface of the animal releases 1 dose/kg of body weight.

Spray the whole animal's body from a 10–20 cm distance against the direction the hair/fur. Usually, a brush or comb is used simultaneously. All hair should be moisturized uniformly with the product so that the preparation can reach the skin. For the treatment of the head and skin around the eyes, spray the product onto a wet glove and rub it carefully into the hair. Avoid spraying into the eyes and mouth. One dose ensures protection against flea infestation for up to 5 weeks and against ticks for 3-4 weeks.

The minimum interval between 2 treatments is 4 weeks.

Bathing/shampooing of the animal is not recommended within 2 days after application, as well as bathing more frequent than once a week.
