Dosage and application
Method of administration: intramuscularly.
Cattle: Synchronization of oestrus – 2 ml of the product pro toto (0.15 mg of the active substance). Following identification of corpus luteum (cycle days 6 to 18), insemination is performed 70 to 120 hours after administration, in dependence on the signs of onset of the oestrus. Application can be repeated on day 11 following the first application if no oestrus has been induced. Embryo donors receive the product on day 3 from the onset of superovulation preparation (2 ml pro toto in the morning, 2 ml pro toto in the evening). In the treatment of functional disorders of the ovaries, insemination is performed during the first oestrus induced by the administration of the product. The application can be repeated on day 11 if no oestrus has occurred. During a combined therapy of follicular cysts, ESTROPUR is applied on day 10 to 14 following administration of LH-RH (Lecirelin Bioveta 0.025mg/ml inj.) based on identification of a positive ovarian response. In the treatment of the postpuerperal uterus disease, administration is repeated in a 10-day interval. Insemination is only performed following the second application.
Sows: A single dose (behind the ear) of 1 ml of the product pro toto (75 μg of the active substance) is applied after gestation day 111. Induced birth will mostly start 19 to 30 hours after application.
