Composition
Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae inact. (3 strains – type 2, 1 strain – type 1) RP ≥ 1*
*RP = Relative efficacy (RP) in comparison with the reference serum obtained from animals vaccinated with a batch that had passed the challenge test on the target animal species.
Indication
For immunization of pigs against erysipelas.
Onset of immunity: immunity is fully developed 21 days after the vaccination.
Duration of immunity: 6 months.
Dosage, application and vaccination scheme
2 ml subcutaneously.
The first vaccination: pigs over 8 weeks of age only with one dose.
Breeding pigs: another vaccination and revaccination always after 6 months.
Storage
Store in a refrigerator (2 °C – 8 °C).
Withdrawal period
Zero days.
Shelf life
Shelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 18 months.
Shelf-life after first opening the immediate packaging: 10 hours.
