Pharmaceutical form

Powder for preparation of oral solution.

The product is white to off-white powder.

Composition

Amoxicillinum (ut trihydricum)                                    100 mg

Indication

Infectious diseases caused by germs sensitive to amoxicillin, such as e.g. upper respiratory tract infection and infection of the lungs, postpartal infections, infection of the urogenital tract, hepatobilliary infection, salmonelosis, coli infections, etc.

Target animals

Poultry, pigs, cattle – calves.

Dosage and application

Oral administration in drinking water.

10 mg amoxicilin/1 kg of live weight and day, which corresponds to 10 g of BIOVETA AMOXICILIN 100 mg/g per 100 kg of live weight and day (administer separately in two doses) or 0.5-2 g of BIOVETA AMOXICILIN 100 mg/g per 1 litre of drinking water for 5 days. In case of more serious infection, it is possible to double the daily dose on the first day.

Prepare the medicated drinking water fresh every day.

Storage

Store below 25°C.

Keep in dry place.

Withdrawal period

Porcine meat for 3 days.

Calf meat for 7 days.

Poultry meat for 2 days.

Do not administer to layers, the eggs of which are intended for human consumption.

Shelf life

Shelf-life in an intact package: 2 years.

Shelf life after reconstitution in drinking water according to instruction for use is 24 hours.
