Composition - 100 g:
Alaptidum - 1g
Ointment base:
polysorbate 60, cetyl stearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, methylparaben, propylparaben, water for injections.
Characteristic:
Alaptide (spirocyclic synthetic dipeptide) stimulates granulation tissue growth, accelerates the epithelisation process and healing of wounds.
Uses:
Cosmetic veterinary product may be used in all warm-blooded non-food animals for local therapy of dermal and mucosal lesions - burns, abrasions, frostbites, bedsores, ulcers, fistulas, dog paws damaged by salted sidewalks etc.
Administration:
Externally onto skin. Apply 2 - 3 mm layer of the ointment onto the damaged spot and possibly cover with a light bandage and let act for the time necessary for healing, inspecting the wound occasionally. Where the bandage cannot be applied, administer the ointment twice a day or when needed. The time of application depends on the size of the damaged spot and speed of regeneration. The usual time of treatment is 3 - 10 days, longer in chronic and neglected cases.
