On 14 - 17 October 2024, Bioveta hosted a group of 19 veterinary experts from Latvia. The visit was an opportunity not only to extend professional knowledge, but also to gain cultural and historical knowledge of the Czech Republic.

Of the total number of participants, five members of the delegation specialized in small animals, twelve in cattle and two in horses. The professional program included lectures read by two product managers who presented the Bioveta product portfolio together with knowledge of the care of individual animal species. DVM., Bc. Karel Paukner focused himself on small animals, whilst DVM. Pavel Raška presented his knowledge from the field of cattle. The program also included a tour of Bioveta production premises, where the guests could have a look at the facilities and production processes of our company. During the whole visit, the delegation was accompanied by Ing. Jan Bittner, Director of the Raw Materials Purchase Section.

In addition to the professional program, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Jekl & Hauptman Veterinary Clinic, focused on small animals, the ZEMOS dairy farm in Velké Němčice and the Veterinary University in Brno. There participants could also visit the towns of Znojmo, Brno and Valtice Chateau, where the members of the delegation were be familiarized with the cultural and historical wealth of the South Moravian region.

The cultural program was further enriched by a visit to the Lahofer winery, where the guests tasted Czech wines, a tour of the Starobrno brewery and dinner in the renowned Pavillon restaurant, famous for its excellent gastronomy.
