Bulgaria: Bioveta, a.s. takes part at the seminar in Sandanski On May 31st, 2024, a seminar for veterinary practitioners was held in Sandanski, city located at the Bulgarian-Greek border and is said to be the birthplace of the Thracian gladiator Spartacus.

The seminar was organised by the Bulgarian Association of Large Animal Veterinary Practitioners in cooperation with Lekoom and with significant support from Bioveta, a.s. 

The main speakers at the seminar called "Programs securing health of newborn calves” were Jiří Davídek, DVM from the Czech Republic and Dr. Chavdar Filipov, Associated Professor from the Veterinary Faculty in Sofia. Their lectures predominately covered the latest vaccination trends and vaccine portfolios ensuring health of newborn calves, namely BioBos RCC and BioBos Respi 5.

In addition to the lectures, the seminar also included a workshop on the topic of "Latest trends in artificial insemination of cattle", led by prof. Stanimir Yotov, DVM and Anatoli Atanasov, DVM, Associated Professor from the Veterinary Faculty in Stara Zagora.
